Terms of use

Citigen Care provides software and operational tools for coordinating approved one-to-one community participation. Availability, service scope, required credentials, contracts, and funding rules vary by state and program. The service is not a rideshare marketplace, emergency service, ambulance, medical transportation provider, clinical provider, or substitute for skilled, medical, or intimate personal care.

Eligibility and authority

You must be at least 18, provide accurate information, use only your own account or invitation, protect your credentials and enrolled device, and act only for people and organizations you are legally authorized to represent. Organizations are responsible for confirming their users’ authority and promptly reporting access that should be removed.

Service boundaries and emergencies

Approved helpers may provide companionship, reminders, walking assistance, bathroom standby, and other specifically authorized light support. Unless a signed service plan expressly permits otherwise, helpers do not handle medication, lift or transfer a person, provide intimate care, transport wheelchairs, perform clinical tasks, or continuously track a person. Call 911 or the appropriate local emergency service first; never delay emergency care to complete an app workflow.

Availability by jurisdiction

A website form, account, or listed service does not mean Citigen Care is licensed, enrolled, contracted, insured, or available in every state, county, facility, or funding program. Live service may begin only after Citigen Care completes the approvals, screening, insurance, contracting, and operating requirements that apply to that location and service.

Funding and payment

Private-pay and publicly funded records must remain separate. “PA ODP waiver” refers only to properly authorized Pennsylvania services and may be used only after applicable provider enrollment, participant authorization, service-plan approval, billing rules, and vendor integrations are complete. Public funding in any other state requires a separate state- and program-specific launch review and must not be inferred from Pennsylvania functionality.

Acceptable use and account security

Do not misuse the service, access records outside your authorized scope, share accounts, upload unlawful material, interfere with security controls, or enter false service, credential, billing, or incident information. Citigen Care may suspend access to protect people, records, organizations, or the service while an issue is reviewed.

Privacy and records

The Privacy Notice explains general information practices. Executed service agreements, business associate agreements, program rules, consent documents, and state-specific notices may impose additional requirements. Users must not put medical records or sensitive health details into public inquiry forms.

No guarantee

To the extent permitted by law, pre-launch software and service availability are provided without a guarantee that a helper, schedule, funding source, authorization, or integration will be available. Rights and remedies that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.

Draft status

These product-stage terms do not replace executed facility, family, partner, employment, payer, consent, or program agreements. Qualified counsel and program specialists must review the terms, privacy notice, consent and waiver documents, insurance, worker-classification approach, accessibility, and each state launch before live service.
